Setting Up Your First Harvest Card Controls

Losing or misplacing a debit or credit card can happen to anyone and may cause you to panic until you know the card has been locked. And, with a constant flow of new fraud tactics, we want to give our members the ability to catch or even stop fraud before it occurs.

Utilize the Card Controls feature within Online Banking on our website to help protect your account.

To enroll as a new Card Controls user:

  1. Log into your account and navigate to the Services tab.
  2. Then, select Credit Cards Online, where you will then be prompted to enter your debit or credit card number.
  3. Next, complete the card information and verification section as well as your profile information.
  4. And finally, select and answer your security questions.

That’s it! You’ve successfully enrolled in Card Controls and added your card.

If you are already enrolled in Card Controls and want to add a new debit or credit card, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your account and navigate to the Services tab.
  2. Then, select Credit Cards Online and click Continue.
  3. Next, click on the Services icon.
  4. You’ll then have the option to manage your card(s), which is where you’ll also have the option to select Add Card.
  5. Once you enter your card number and required account information, you’re all set!

To temporarily lock or freeze a card:

  1. Start at the Account Summary page, where you can manage your cards that are enrolled.
  2. Click on the green Lock Card button on the bottom left corner of the card you wish to lock and select Confirm.
  3. To unlock the card, click the red button labeled Unlock Card. Select Confirm to unlock the card.

Adding Alerts

With Card Controls, you’ll receive timely notifications when your card is used for a transaction. You can select the type of transactions that will trigger alert, which include transactions made at certain merchants, dollar amounts spent, locations transactions are made, and type of transactions made (ATM, in store, eCommerce, etc.).

To set up these card alerts:

  1. Log into your account and navigate to the Services tab.
  2. Then, select Credit Cards Online and click Continue.
  3. Next, choose the debit or credit card you would like to set up alerts for and click Notification Settings.
  4. Then, you can choose to customize and enable Transaction Alerts and Block Transactions.
  5. Once you select your preferences, click Save.
